hat Literatur und Kunstgeschichte an der Humboldt Universität Berlin studiert.
Darüber hinaus hat sie einen Abschluss in Regieführung der Kunsthochschule für Medien in Köln. Seit den 90er Jahren arbeitet Christine Lang als unabhängige Filmemacherin, Kuratorin und DJ mit einer Leidenschaft für basslastige Musikstile. Seit 2003 ist sie Teil des DJ-Kollektivs “Femmes With Fatal Breaks”. Als DJ tourte sie nicht nur durch Deutschland, sondern auch durch Argentinien, Paraguay, Rumänien und erhielt Einladungen nach Schweden, Portugal, in die Schweiz, nach Los Angeles und Israel. Auch ihre Kurzfilme und Musikvideos wurden auf internationalen Filmfestivals gezeigt. Sie war 2008 Kuratorin der Ausstellung ‘FEMMES ‘R’ US – mit Kunst, Musik, Vorträgen und Filmen zum Thema Feminismus in Berlin. Aktuell bereitet sie ihren ersten Spielfilm vor.
DJ Christine Lang studied literature and art history at Humboldt University in Berlin. In addition she holds a diploma in directing from the media art school in Cologne. Since the 90s, she has been working as independent fimmaker, curator and DJ with a passion for bass related music styles. Since 2003, she is part of the Berlin based female DJ collective “Femmes with Fatal Breaks”. As a DJ she toured not only through Germany but also through Argentina, Paraguay, Romania and got invitations to Sweden, Portugal, Switzerland, Los Angeles and Israel. Her short films and music videos have been shown internationally on film festivals. Currently, she is preparing her first feature film.

gehört zu den Vorreitern und Pionieren des Video Scratching – mit seiner einzigartigen Technik und einem unverwechselbaren Stil.
Geboren 1960 im israelischen Haifa, lebt und arbeitet Sniper seit 1985 in Berlin. Zusammen mit dem Autor und Künstler Heinrich Dubel betreibt er das SNIPER Projekt in Berlin. Seine Videokunst hat er bereits auf vielen Festivals unter Beweis gestellt, darunter das PS1/ New York, Kunstwerke/ Berlin, NGBK, Berlin oder ZKM Karlsruhe.
In seinen Solokonzert-Videoaufführungen kommt alltägliches elektronisches Equipment zum Einsatz sowie Videos aus seinem umfangreichen Archiv. Safy Sniper lässt daraus völlig neue Kompositionen entstehen, die nicht nur als eigenständige Video-Clips funktionieren, sondern gleichzeitig als bissige Kritik am Genre zu verstehen sind.
VJ Safy Sniper is one of the pioneers of video scratching – with a unique technique and style. He was born in 1960 in Haifa, Israel, and has been working and living in Berlin since 1985. Together with author and media artist Heinrich Dubel he operates the SNIPER project in Berlin. Safy Sniper appears at multimedia-performances in Germany and all over Europe, North America and Israel and took part in various festivals, among them PS1/New York, Kunstwerke/Berlin, ZKM/Karlsruhe. In his solo concert-video performances, he deploys common consumer electronics equipment and the appropriate archive of videos. By manipulating his set, reminiscent of a collection of damaged players, a new composition is created, which functions not only as a self-standing musical clip, but also as an acid-tongued comment to the genre.
